Salt Flash Fiction Competition 2012
The 2012 Salt Flash Fiction prize is up and running, accepting entries for its 2013 anthology of new writing.
The rules allow pieces of flash fiction on any subject, any style, in English, not exceeding 350 words.
1st PRIZE
£500 plus publication in The Salt Anthology of New Writing.
2nd PRIZE
£250 plus publication in The Salt Anthology of New Writing.
3rd PRIZE
£50 book token for use in Salt’s online shops plus publication in The Salt Anthology of New Writing.
A further seven finalists will be published in The Salt Anthology of New Writing.
In addition, every online entrant will receive a voucher giving them 30% off every book purchase made in the Salt online shop valid until the close of the competition on 31 October.
The first flash fiction submitted costs £5. Subsequent entries in this category cost £3 per flash fiction. The closing date of the competition is midnight GMT, 31 October.
There is no limit to the number of entries an individual can make.
